Great job remaking the monkey island 2 title track i love it :D

Dunno about suggestions, perhaps largo's theme from the same game, or the tune played during guybrush' dream sequence?

Failing that i'm rather partial to the tune played on the ghost pirate ship in the first secret of monkey island :3

Smooth stuff

Vintage acid house, nice synth sweeps and i'm loving that voice garble :3

Wouldn't strike me as odd during an aphex live set, good example of less is more.

Aphex is a huge inspiration no doubt.
as I can see from the comment I achieved what I was headin for, though I wanted a darker sound in the end. Thanks for the review and glad you liked it :D

Can't recall exactly what the snes simcity sounds like as much i do the green haired tutorial character but this has a very authentic sound to it.

Reminds me a lot of the secret of mana soundtrack actually even though it's not even vaguely similar lol ^_^

And aside from the similarities between Sim City and Secret of Mana, music-wise, I guess you could say that this song does have some RPG-like styles to it; I figured that I'd have the familiar upbeat jazzy feel of Sim City and other related sounding games, with a classical peaceful tone, thought up by yours truly.

Glad you enjoyed! I haven't played Secret of Mana, but I do like listening to the soundtrack online. I'm in love with "Phantom and a Rose", which I guess may have actually been an influence in this homage, even though I didn't even think about it until now, lolz!

Very nice breakbeat, could do with more mastering but don't take that personally
cus it applies to absolutely everything ever uploaded here.

I'd say good stuff for a menu, in between levels interlude or a good backdrop to
a shoot and run thing as it sounds very industiral overall <3
