Sweet

Sounds like a nice mix of synthpop and dark ambient.

Lots of quiet despair tucked in this piece, i love it :3

ParagonOfDolor responds:

Thank you for the feedback, very much appreciated. Yeah I'm a big fan of stuff like that; shoegaze, synthpop, dark wave, no wave, really any kind of slower tempo or noise electronic music.

Epic

Really nice downtempo piece, loving the david icke samples at the start and that total break into thunder and rain later on.

overall feels very well executed, really good example of a chill out session headliner.

Existential crisis currently going on in your life perhaps?

Safe journey bro <3

MrFijiWiji responds:

bonus points for u!!!!!

Nice

I like it, first synth could do with being either centered or a bit of panning motion but other then that well done.

megakill responds:

Thanks for the review!

I'll take that into consideration ;)

Percussion upgrade :D

This beat is exactly like the chip/scene tunes from back in the day, really fits the piano very well.

Starts out latin like untill those horns come in, very heroic sounding, like a protoganist making up his mind and rising to the occasion.

Keep doing your thing <3

Ef-X responds:

Ha :D

your right it is latin, cuban pianos. Horns are actually accordions on very low notes as for the piano, since I obsess over Steve Reich phasing technique i decided to use it. I discovered a while ago it fits happily with those chip/scene beats you talk about.

I'll keep doing my thing :D

Nice

You're definitely improving so just keep practicing, the effort really does pay off.

Meanwhile try out demos of the rest of the daws, it's obviously a bit too early to tell which you're going to end up liking best so don't worry about which is supposedly better, the only real differences that are going to matter to you are ease of use and workflow.

Allso check out some video tutorials, even if you don't feel they're particularly helpfull it should give you a fair impression of how a given program works and what to expect from it in terms of results.

Anyway, keep it up <3

TechnicolourNuance responds:

Thank you :D
It's people like you that make me wanna keep on trying and working to perfect my visions that i want to share to the world. Would you have any advice for me? I'm always with open ears.

Also, I just submitted another loop that I've been working on for the past hour. Lemme know if that one's decent or not as well.

Again, thanks for the support.

Terrific

Wish this was a full track, it's so well done like a final boss fight or some such.

Perhaps with an intermission that includes a smaller church style organ, i don't know.

Good job anyway <3

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks man! Sadly, buddy only requires like 30-50 seconds or so. :(
I would develop these further, but really aren't worth it in the end. They are just simple stuffs. :)

Thanks again, tho!

Sweet

More of a nightly stroll along the beach to my ears. Really good composition and nice, somewhat understated pads next to the melody.

Love the whining/guitarish lead you introduce around 2:00, kinda cracktro like.

This'd make a great hope inspiring anthem for somebody stuck in pit trap dreams, you know the kind with rotor blades and metal rods or that shit where arms and biting crap come out of the walls.

I live with never failing self perpetuating nightmares and the fear/apprehension of going to sleep that comes with them x3

ChronoNomad responds:

Welcome to my Nightmare. It's nice of you to visit, and I appreciate your comments and comparison. Yes, I agree...this would suit a deranged pit trap quite nicely. Something that would make the SAW movies look like Walt Disney.

Sweet

Really soothing piece of dark ambient, i like it :3

Sweet

Cool use of synths and very well structured arrangement, totally love the obama sample :3

FKProductions responds:

Thanks a lot :)

We must be getting better if we're getting MULTIPLE reviews on our stuff :)

Face <(X_X)>

Very original

Sounds like it belongs in an arthouse movie with a protagonist in fetish heels.

Don't ask, i love it.
