Euphoric

Loving that sound right at the start, can't tell how much you're twisting a knob but it's delish, the synth at 1:05 either builds up shortly beforehand or it's a different instrument/sample all together, kinda 90s euro undergound and i like how it blends with the lead melody.

The piano segment after that you must have played manually cus it sounds totally organic to me, i wish i could play like that :3

I wanna hear what's next so 'scuse me.

LucidSpore responds:

All my stuff is played manually then i go in and tweak it, but that exact piano part i played solo style :P was the longest of all the parts, like 64 measures. Just for that part, thank you for the review much appreciated and yes it was a build up but i do a bit of mixing 2 instruments later on in the full version. =]

Way cool :3

Sounds like the orb and aphex twin had an affair, i love it.

Thane3 responds:

Thanks! I think they would have a baby like Uwe Schmidt.

Nice and crisp

This would do really well in a retro shooter, something side scrolling at any rate.

You've got good build up and it's varied in an orderly manner, two things i hope
to master some day myself.

Thirdly, you pulled off a catchy melody overall, i'm loving the edgey bass and
harsh leads.

I love stuff i can keep on repeat :3

Ef-X responds:

thanks for the review :D, I would love to see this in a game someday.

Awesome

I think the lengthy fade out sounds better wearing headphones then it
does over the speakers, but could be just me having my volume low.

Love how menacing, potent and soothing this sounds.

Delicious

This is some very nice downtempo, dignified kind of epic for an aftermath
scene or some such.

I really like the lead at the end changing, wish it'd go on for a little while.

LucidSpore responds:

Well like i said, just search LucidSpore up on youtube, and you should find this song. Its pretty long like 8 mins =] the whole song. I am a maker of long tunes, because too me its like ART, on a big canvas hehe i got lots too do. So go there and tell me what you think =] thanks for the kindness my friend

Namaste

Sweet

This is a really good example of build up and fade in done right, i love it.

LucidSpore responds:

Wow really thank you =] I much appreciate your kind words. Also, i enjoy how i make my music i love traditional build ups but i like to make mine a bit more extensive hehe and unique well i try, None the less thank you =]] make me smile

Pretty damn epic

Love the long, drawn out segments like you really give them time to sink in.

At 3:34 when you hit that second note you made me wonder "where's he going with this?" and the fast pace after that worked really well after that.

Good stuff, keep 'em coming :3

Awesome

This was my fave track in Maniac Mansion too, sweet job remaking it :3
The beat actually has a bit more punch to it then the original, like a touch of psychobilly added around 1:20 and the overal use of a more breakbeat/drum and bass like sound really adds to the character it was meant to back.

I love it x3
